Strategy #1: Get out of your house.
When I do leave my house, which usually means I have a meeting or a social gathering (i.e., I am forced out of my home), I meet nice men 95.5% of the time. Just because I meet men or get attention from them doesn’t mean I am consistently meeting the men of all my dreams or bringing them home with me. The point is, I meet people when I leave my house. You, too, can meet eligible singles and choose which one is best for you.
Currently, I live in a predominantly Black geographical area. If I did not and I was looking for a man of African descent, I would need to go to an area where those men live, work, and play. This is the second strategy.
Strategy #2: When you leave your home, go somewhere where you are more likely to find a match.
You increase your chances of finding someone compatible by being around the type of person that you are looking for. For example, if you are looking for an African American mate, check out the chocolate cities: Houston, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, Raleigh-Durham, etc. According to the most recent Census data, African Americans congregate in these “urban” geographical areas.
